Wuxi Shenghua Alloy Materials Co., Ltd. has completed its relocation and resumed full production at a new plant. Vacuum induction melting, precision forging, vacuum heat treatment and nondestructive testing are now laid out in one facility — tighter process flow and shorter material handling for more consistent bar microstructure and properties, and shorter lead times.
Key equipment was reinstalled, re-commissioned and re-calibrated during the move, and the newly added 2 t vacuum induction melting (VIM) furnace has been brought into production at the new site. The inspection centre was upgraded alongside, continuing to cover chemical composition, mechanical properties, ultrasonic testing and metallographic examination to ASTM / GB / AMS requirements, with mill certificates and lot-level traceability shipped with every order.
The company says the new facility will better support demand for nickel- and cobalt-base superalloy bars from customers in petrochemical, marine engineering, power and metallurgy, aerospace, energy equipment, medical and food & pharmaceutical sectors.
