Chloride pitting resistance · long-life seawater shaft parts
Nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless with roughly twice the yield of annealed 316, outperforming 316/317 in chloride pitting and crevice resistance; not hardenable by heat treatment and low permeability after cold work.
